Living Trailers (#17 on map)

First living trailer:
(pictured on the left)
This is the trailer that Tressa & Al Prisbrey originally moved onto the propery. She stated that she hid the wheels of this trailer so she & Al would "stay put", and indeed, the wheels are gone. A base of bottles run the circumference underneath the trailer's bottom. It is not known what brand of trailer this is, only that it is wooden and built sometime in the 1950's. The enclosure was a wood frame structure that covered the trailer and an area in front. Within this framework were wall sections of bottles with different shapes and colors, many painted inside. The framework plus some lower bottles in mortar still remain. (photo a.devine 1977)

Second living trailer:
(not shown)
This trailer is a Royal "Spartanette" circa 1960 and made of aluminum. It served as her second living space and is in very good condition.
