This festival has been part of the greater Fortville community for 27 years. The festival began as a fundraiser for St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. However, the participants quickly realized the benefits of reaching to the surrounding community and parishioners coming together in fellowship, united towards a common goal. In the years that followed, the added benefits have become as important as fund raising to the parish.
