Meet the St. Thomas staff

Picture of Ft. Joe Pesola

Pastor

Father Joe Pesola is a graduate of Sacred Heart School of Theology in Hales Corner, WI . He has been an associate pastor at several parishes in the archdiocese. St. Thomas is his first parish where Father Joe has served as administrator. In addition to his duties at St. Thomas Father is in charge Deaf Ministries for the archdiocese.

Director of Faith Formation

Cheryl Woelfel is the Director of Faith Formation. Her family have been members of the parish since 1989. She is in her second tenure as Director. She is an experienced catechist who has taught religion since 1983 and rececived a Certificate in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University.

Parish Secretary

Peggy Schauff is the parish secretary. If you want to know what is going on in the parish community ask Peggy. She does the scheduling, recordkeepping, prepares the bulletin, publishes the parish news letter and attempts to keep Father pointed in the right direction.

Youth Minister

Stephanie Garst wears many hats in the parish. Stephanie is not only the youth minister, she also cleans all three buildings, performs minor maintenance, co-chair of the festival, directs the choirs, schedules the workers for mass and serves as a cantor.
