| Charmant (means "sweet,") is a wonderfully calm bird. His parents are Louis XIV and Papette (see Breeders). He would be an excellent show or showmanship bird. He was hatched on April 3. I named him Charmant early on, when I was sure he would develop the confident, but friendly personality of his father (and he has!). He has wonderful tail carriage, lending itself to his already handsome appearance. His parents are Louis XIV and Papette (see Breeders). | |
| Plume (means "feather,") is calmer than his big brother, Battre. (For more on Battre, see Breeders.) He was hatched on April 18, and would be a superb show or showmanship bird. There is not a mean bone in this sweetie's body, and he is used to human handling. I named him Plume after I found him trying to eat a feather (and not succeeding). He has tried this before, so I thought "Feather" - after his favorite 'food' - was the perfect name. His parents are Louis XIV and Papette. (Click here for more on Plume's parents.) |
