The Thursday Knights Chess Group provides a place to play chess in a casual environment. All experience levels are welcome.

The Thursday Knights chess group generally meets on the second Thursday of each month from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Central time.

Take I-43 South to Exit 89
Turn right onto West Pioneer Rd. (County Rd. C)
Turn left onto N. Port Washington Rd. (County Rd. W)
Go 1.1 miles south on N. Port Washington Rd.
Christ Church is on the left immediately after Bonniwell Rd.
From US-41/45 take Exit 54
Take Route 167 East (Lannon Rd.; merges onto Mequon Rd.)
Go east on Mequon Rd. (Rt. 167) for approximately 10 miles.
Turn left onto N. Port Washington Rd. (County Rd. W)
Go 2.9 miles north on N. Port Washington Rd.
Christ Church is on the right just before Bonniwell Rd.
Take I-43 North approximately 13½ miles to Exit 85
At the end of the exit ramp, turn left.
Go 0.2 miles west to N. Port Washington Rd. (County Rd. W)
Turn right onto N. Port Washington Rd.
Go 2.9 miles north on N. Port Washington Rd.

On Thursday, October 14, 2010 the Thursday Knights Chess Group, in cooperation with the Ozaukee Regional Chess Association (ORCA) hosted a simultaneous exhibition by FIDE Master Ruslan Ahundov. Ruslan challenged 19 opponents, yielding only 1 win and 1 draw to his opponents. Congratulations to Joe Hernandez for his win and Max Samson for his draw. In the photo below, Joe is shown with his prize (a Fischer book) and Max is seated in the background.
