Mime-Version: 1.0 Dear Kent, I ran Spell Check on that thing and it told me I had written 1365 words. Imagine Had I been require to write a 1,000 word essay I'd balk at the thought and postponed that chore for days. The reality was a totally different story. Early into that evening I was very aware that I was in some sort of sensory overload. I thought on the way home about all the things that I wanted to remember and tell you about. Comparatively little hesitation occurred when it came to the actual writing. I just wrote it as it came to me. A little revision for clarification sake. The "official oils" bothered me a bit but I liked its vagueness. It was not Just Jacqueline's Official Portrait but lots of other works of art. Some of which I had seen in history books or documentaries. Others, like those of the Tall Ships had an appeal akin to the one I get when I see something old and special at a yard sale that I couldn't live without. See now that's clearer but the "official oils" phrase fits better in the piece, huh? As far as when and if I will get a copy of that now famous picture, The card I filled out and was used to announce me to the prez also contained my address for the mailing of it. I just don't know when. Mr. Gore came to the workshop to see the quilt a couple of years ago. Camillo was there. Those photos didn't come for a couple of months. At your suggestion I e'd your Mom a copy of "small town boy" - her reply follows: **"I did get your message, but I will be gone again most of the day. I am doing better, just not great. If it's not too late when I get back, I'll try to call you."** So I have no idea what she thought I know she got it because the subject line said reply to small town boy. It's been fun today answering all the email coming in (they still are) like reading reviews of a published article! I probably sent "your letter" to 20 people on the net and plan to send out printed Christmas letters to cousins, Tina & Jeff on laser printer paper with a holly motif. I hope you don't mind. Well it has been 3 days now my memory is well intact. You can risk infringement now and tell me about your real world, please? Love, Dad (still want to know about the bathrooms :-))... P.S. The Men's Room that I attended was just off the library. I didn't know what to expect after Amy's must see comment. The walls were an oak paneling , the stall too. A hunter motif dominated all the paintings (yes in the bath), two oval basins with brass fixtures. Behind the counter where the sinks were there was space enough for a large tree-plant then the window to the outdoors. With all the oak, poinsettias accented the room vibrantly. |
