Judas, the Disciple of Despair

I. Took Lightly the Christ.

A. Judas heard the greatest preacher that ever walked this earth.

 

B. Unpardonable sin (Mark 3:28-29).

 

C. A religious church member, but not a believer.

 

 

 

II. Took Lightly His Calling (Acts 1:15-26).

A. He was a Disciple; An Apostle; Bishop (Pastor).

 

B. He preached; Healed the sick; Cast out demons; etc.

 

C. Its not a light thing to be called to serve God (Isa. 49:5-6).

 

III. Took Lightly the Cost.

A. Sin ruins your mind.

       B. Sin ruins your family.

       C. Sin ruins your life.

       D. Sin ruins your testimony.

Name of Judas will be forever associated with betrayal!

E. Sin ruins your body.
