Remove present glass and wood front approximately 36' x 13' - one
story. Rebuilt with 8" masonry under present plate glass & reset
1/2" Structural glass on wood studs, metal lath & stucco over glass.
5. ESTIMATED COST OF PROJECT
COST OF STRUCTURES, INCLUDING FIXTURES AND BUILDING SERVICE: $3,000.
$2,500.

8. JUSTIFICATION FOR THE PROJECT
a. Store front unsafe in present condition. Building code requires wood
front be replaced with brick or masonry.
b. State the specific reasons the project cannot be
deferred at this time.
Space was contracted for before present building restrictions put in.
Delay in starting work was caused by inability to obtain possession from former occupant.
c. Give any other factors in support of this
application.
This store would serve the southern portion of the state. At the
present time only very inadequate service can be given in this areas as we have no store
south of Pueblo.
