Hi Max,
I received my video filter
today. I did a test run by recording a couple minutes of an HBO
movie. It was copy protected.
Installed the new filter and recorded a couple
more minutes of the same movie. Not copy protected. Hurray!
I've also discovered that now the filter is there, my
recorder will make DVDs of the copy protected shows living on my hard
drive. I'm impressed.
I didn't think it would since the filter
is between the satellite receiver and the DVDR -- I thought I'd have to record
the shows again at the next
broadcast to get past
the copy protection. Anyway, much thanks for the prompt shipment.

I have tried it with the Sony recorder. Everything works great on the picture
end. I'm still trying to tweak things with the audio. It is amazing
the picture quality you get with your filter together with the component inputs
and circuitry of the recorder.Thanks from a satisfied

The filter worked like a charm. I was able to make a dvd copy of the movie "Two Weeks Notice"
(for personal use of course). Now, I'll
transfer my family Hi8 video tapes to dvd.
