Braised rhubarb with oranges and walnuts

Ingredients

1 pound rhubarb, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 Tbsp water
3 1/2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp orange juice
1 medium orange(s), peeled and sectioned (seedless)
1/4 cup walnut halves, toasted
1 tsp orange zest

Instructions

1.    Place rhubarb and water in a large skillet. Simmer over medium heat until tender when pierced with fork, about 8 minutes; do not overcook.

2.   Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Serve warm or cold. Yields 1/2 cup per serving.
