On the back of this photo I wrote "Bill Murphy in his Curtis-Buick." You can see the Pacific Ocean below the clouds.

This one says, "Jack McAfee Spyder" and "Jag Spl." Kodak said the print was made during the week ending July 18, 1955

Some time after I made these pictures I cut pieces about an inch by an inch and a half out of the centers of the 3½ x 5 prints and from the look of it carried them around in my billfold for a while. By the time I scanned them from those fragments the color had deteriorated so that they looked pretty much like shades of pink. Even my poor skills pulled something out of the murk. Photoshop^®. It works.
