The next SGC  meeting is Monday May 21, 2012 at 11a.m. The program will be "Mini Designs with garden club member Nancy Hunter.  Members are encouraged to attend so you can be part of the planning of important              upcoming events.
May's gardening tip is to divide your perennials. Dividing them each spring will keep plants from becoming "invasive". Certain plants tend to send out underground "runners" or multiply quickly, but if you divide them annually, you can keep them contained. Donate divided plants to your local garden club plant sales each spring. Be sure to label your plants with the name of the plant, light requirements and blooming time and height and keep them watered.
