How To Become A Member

Our meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month. You may attend a meeting  just  to observe if you want to. A notice is published in the Scarborough Leader, Current and Forecaster on the Friday before the meeting. If you decide to join, just fill out a simple application.

There are 9 meetings a year. You do not have to attend all of them. The yearly dues are $20. At some point, you will be asked to serve on a committee, such as helping out with the Green Thumb Contest, or being on the phone committee, helping with some of the club's projects, etc.

Meetings usually start at 1pm. and last until 2:30 or so. Most of the time we discuss club business first, then we have a program of some kind, and then coffee, tea, and snacks. There is no meeting in the months of January, July, or August.

If you love gardening or flowers or just nature in general, please join our club. It is open to all.
