About The Club

The club was organized in 1975 and became federated in 1975 and are a non-profit organization.

We currently have 43 members and are always looking for new members.

We are a member of the Stroudwater District, Garden Club Federation of Maine, and The National Garden Clubs, Inc.

We have meetings on the third Monday of each month during the months of September, October, November, December, (No January meeting), February, March, April, May, and June meeting which is usually a field trip and picnic.

We hold our monthly meetings at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church, 350 US Route l in Scarborough, which is published in the local newspaper the Friday before the meeting.  There is garden club business first and then a different program each month, usually a hands on project or presentations from various speakers, followed by beverages and snacks.

The meetings start at 1pm. You do not have to attend every meeting, although there is a lot of information about what the club is doing at each meeting as well as interesting programs.
