Annual Photography Competition
Two photos taken by Green Bay club members
from the 2010 photography competition were selected for the 2012 national
calendar. The photo on the left was taken by Shirley Winnes--it is Malus
'White Candle' (crabapple) and appears for the month of April. The photo on
the right was taken by Paul Hartman--it is Metasequoia glyptostroboides (dawn
redwood) and appears for the month of December.
|
|
This 2012 calendar is available now--all
photos submitted for the 2010 annual photo competition were judged, and 13
photos were selected for each month and the cover. Each month's photo is
identified by the Latin name of the plant in the photo and the
photographer's name and affiliation with TGOA-MGCA. Susan Plasz is the
photographer of the Swallowtail butterfly and Lantana flower. Susan is a
member of the Gardeners of Central Lake County in Libertyville, Illinois.
