Celebrating Marcy Scribner!
- This was Mom's final year with us. A few things she wanted before she left us was a family photo and then a trip home to Maine. We took these photos just before Thanksgiving, 2000 and then she took one last trip to Maine in September of 2001. Deb made the trip with her to capture the precious moments she had with her Mom, her brothers and sisters and her Maine roots. Mom wanted to make sure she had a chance to try all her old food favorites like lobster, ployes, rasberry pudding, boudin (blood sausage), red hot dogs and beans...and fiddleheads! She made it through the holidays and passed away on January 11, 2002.
