WENDY'S CHILI (GRD's version)

2 lbs. ground beef (I use the 7% for health reasons, I'm sure they don't)
1 C large diced onion
1 C large diced celery
1-2 large diced green chilis
3 large diced medium tomatoes
2 cloves garlic minced
1 28 oz can pinto beans liquid included
1 28 oz can red kidney beans liquid included
1 28 oz can tomato sauce
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper (or more)
3 Tbl chili powder
2 C water

Brown onion and ground beef and garlic. (I use no stick pan and no oil).
Drain. (If use 7% there is really nothing to drain.)

Add mixture and all other ingredients to crock pot and cook on low for 8-10 hours.

This virtually overflows a 5 1/2 quart crock pot, so use less water to compensate.
