Heather Maddux, the owner and president of Heather's Pet Sitting, Inc. holds the Master of Science degree in Applied Animal Behavior and Animal Welfare from the Royal School of Veterinary Studies in the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, University of Edinburgh, Scotland. She received national certification as a Canine Behavior Counselor from the Animal Behavior Center of New York. This certification is approved and sponsored by the Association of Companion Animal Behavior Counselors. Heather began working professionally with animals twelve years ago at the Bolivar County Animal Shelter and her experiences since then include working in the commercial pet industry and with various animal shelters. She has also volunteered at Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc. Heather's Pet Sitting is a member of Pet Sitters Associates and upholds the highest standards for professional pet sitters.
