I hope you can overlook that in your imagination and still enjoy. Back when writing the first book, I almost killed Hane off in a valiant flame of glory and heroism, because he *would* die to save his commander and his friends. But readers liked him as much as I did, so I'm glad I didn't do that. <grin> If you love HEA paranormal/futuristic romance with space ships, sexy mutant hero and flying horses as secondary characters ... this might be a story for you.
