I have believed in a non-violent approach, in most cases, for many of my years.
I have pondered methods to combat our enemies who are determined to put us in captivity,
and it is apparent they are well on their paths in achieving their goals
of destroying our freedoms and enslaving us and our children.

Our main threat is terrorism, and it is becoming rampant within our country and abroad.
I cherish our endowed rights and that enlightenment accorded us.
The framers of our U. S. Constitution might have been partakers in this endowed enlightenment,
as one might reasonably argue, is evidenced in our finished document ..... The U. S. Constitution.
I believe that at some time, after having turned our cheek and having endured
the repeated abuse of our rights, that we must meet the oppressors of our rights,
fire with fire.  Furthermore, I can't believe that one can reason with rattlesnakes.

I have envisioned a method to combat this terrorism that
will surely correct and greatly diminish the threat to our liberties from our want-to-be captors.
Then we can deal with various threats that might remain with a firm,
no-nonsense, no-political-correctness response.
The terrorists who are planning to disrupt our lives with homicide and suicide tactics
will be neutralized in their destructive threats to us and to our children.

Freedom Summit

We have less than a year to stop talking and to organize, confront
and rid our nation of the scoundrels in Congress,

and stop the desecration of our Constitutions by judges now being seated
by this Marxist regime, who are determined to destroy our freedoms.

It is time to organize our groups under perhaps a slogan such as
“Together We Can.”

I propose we hold a “Freedom Summit”, immediately,
and plan our assault on those who are going to put us in chains.

I believe in, and would welcome, throwing out all incumbents
in November, except perhaps John Shadegg of AZ,

Jim Demint of SC, Virginia Fox of NC,  Jeff Flake of AZ,  and Ron Paul of Az.

Enough of this political-correctness nonsense.  Let's use all our rights
to reclaim our liberties, including the 2nd amendment, if necessary.

I call this being fully armed, if necessary.
Thanks for your efforts in reclaiming our rights.

I will vote against all the bastards that are in my district,
both in Raleigh and Washington DC, (District Of Corruption),
except Larry Brown 73rd State House Representative

IF he does not join the crooks.

Raleigh and DC with the 5 exceptions need a full cleansing.
Ammo, Gold & Silver, guns, beans and rice, bottled water and access to alternative energy
is becoming an attractive option more and more every day,

along with an iron clad determination to reclaim our rights.

Let the records reflect that we tried, in my final attempt,
to reform and enhance our town, to end corruption,
and to relieve the burdens of our citizens, allowing them
the rights to which they are endowed.
Hopefully, some ideas and solutions were planted in the minds
of a future generation who will nurture them.
My sincerest thanks to all my supporters.
I hope have not brought embarrassment to any of you.

                                       Sincerely,
                                         Harvey

Below is my message  to Kernersville Residents :

I have been a resident of Kernersville since 1961.  My wife of nearly 48 years has been tolerant of me.
We have 2 children, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren,
and several pets, all of whom, I believe are in my corner.

I have sought office previously, and like Lincoln, was not successful,
but maybe my time has come.

I am not obligated to any organization, for profit or non-profit, if there is such a thing,
so you can be assured that I will not be a water carrier for anyone.

I will use the Constitutions as my yard stick, as I assume the duties to which you entrust  me.
(See www.ncconstitution.com and www.harveypulliam.com)

Among the issues will be, I am sure, property rights, town services, taxes,
and other matters that will surely surface.

You can rest assured that whether or not you support me,
I will not require you to waive your constitutional rights at public meetings
when you appear before me as a member of this elected body.

Now let us get down to business.

Kernersville is unique in several ways, among them but not limited to, our location,
our town's dedicated employees, Korner's Folly, frequent at-large, and 2-year terms of office
for elected officials, the latter providing more accountability of  officials
and more accessibility for the resident voters of Kernersville.

I would hope that we might  focus on building on our assets;
building the tourism  trade here in Kernersville  could be a boom for our economy.

I believe a low tax rate and our location between the 2 interstates is a major plus
in selling Kernersville as the place to be for current and potential business partners.
I am not inclined to give special tax incentives to attract or retain any business entity,
nor to use Tax Increment Financing (TIF), which places debt on property holders
without their consent, which I believe validates the opinion of some of us that governmental bodies,
locally, state and nationally, take  assets from many and give the assets
to a few, usually politically-connected persons.

I have some ideas about replacing the lost textile and furniture businesses
and propelling the tourist trade. We should use our assets.

We do, however, have some liabilities here in Kernersville, among them but not limited to,
our being located at the head of 5 water sheds;  we will have to address the disposal of our solid waste.

We should take a closer look at our debts, especially in these challenging times.

911 service will need to be addressed this term, I believe.

This elected body should be aware of our ethics policy and provide the  promised transparency
in  local government.  The people who pay the bills should not be kept in the dark.
It is the tax payers' money, not a special fund to be expended
and set up for political and special interest.

One matter that comes to mind is the funding of non-profits.
Whether they be 501-c3, 501-c4, any non-profit - no exceptions - should be required
to disclose the salaries of their directors, CEO's, and other salaried personnel as a prerequisite
of their obtaining our tax dollars.  We have to provide transparency to the IRS,
and so should the non-profits.

I hope this address to you has not been too lengthy.
I recognize that these are trying and tough times in our lives.
I also believe that if we dare to slumber there will be  costly, maybe irreversible,
threats to our liberties, the same of  which we are encumbered to preserve.
The protection of liberty is the main reason I am seeking your support.

Thank you for your time and hopefully your support.
Be well.

To All Politicians:

Respect our Constitutional Rights or RESIGN!
If you do neither, we will assist you!
Elections are coming!

The picture below, contrary to what the the Kernersville News has reported,
was taken by me at the Kernersville Aldermen's Briefing,
disclosing the outcome  of the vote on the 2009-2010 budget.
Mayor Morgan attempted to deny me the right to take this picture.
After a brief recess, the town attorney agreed that this picture should be allowed to be taken.

The voting results by The Kernersville Aldermen on the Kernersville 2009-2010 budget,
which also included funds for organizations that violate our rights:
(notice the facial expressions)
from left to right:
empty seat Bob Prescott,  (absent again), 2nd seat: Keith Mason, next: Brooke Cashion,
next seat, a discontented Mayor Morgan, next Dana Caudill-Jones, next Kevin Bugg ,
and last, town attorney John Wolfe, witness.

A camera is not a deadly weapon.  What are they trying to hide????

"Without checks and balances, democracy becomes mob rule, chaos, a dictatorship...
a leader chosen in a democratic popularity contest can be someone bold and unscrupulous....
who curries favor with the people, by giving them other men's property."
Cicero

****

It’s time to get up in the face of, and demand term limits for, all politicians.

It’s time to demand hand cuffs and hard labor for the crooked politicians

who serve themselves and are destroying our Constitutions.

We are dealing with an unruly bunch of rattle snakes.

This admittedly drastic action by the people is in defense of our liberties.

*****

This picture was taken of the Kernersville Board of Aldermen
on the evening of June 2, 2009.

This picture is proof positive that our elected officials -

Bob Prescott,  Brooke Cashion,  Dana Caudill-Jones,
Mayor Dawn Morgan, Alderman Keith Mason,
Town Manager Curtis Swisher,  and town
attorney, John Wolfe. (Kevin Bugg was absent) -

apparently don't respect the rights they swore to uphold
under the North Carolina Constitution.

At this meeting, I asked if they would stand in recognition
of Amendment 2, Sovereignty of the People.
THEY REFUSED TO DO SO!
Five people in attendance in the  audience
did take a stand in recognition of this amendment.

There is no law that they have to stand, but they
are willing to stand to pray in public and they
are willing to show their "patriotism" by
standing during the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

I merely asked them to stand out of courtesy to
acknowledge that our rights are sacred to us.
Anyone who is an enemy of my rights does not need to serve me.

We've got a long  way to go, but DON'T GIVE UP!
It "ain't" over  yet!
Election time is coming!

How well Cicero foretold, some 2000 years ago,
the possible decline of representative democracy,
as is evidenced in today's elections.

What if the recent turmoils are a consequence of predestined low tides
that are revealing the naked swimmers?

***

On October 18, 2008, Kernersville's elected officials,
along with other "interested" people in attendance,
gleefully celebrate the attempted bailout of Kernersville Main Street.
Not unlike the bailout of Wall Street, this is the attempted bailout
of Kernersville Downtown, with your tax dollars.

More is coming, and your increased tax bill will follow. To be continued.....

I note that the Kernersville Alderman have praised themselves

and commended many others for making  this project possible.

However, they have never thanked the taxpayers of Kernersville

who are saddled with the cost!!  And there is more to come!!

Some pictures below; I have more.

***

The Kernersville Board of Alderman, Caudil-Jones, Bugg, Mason, Prescott, with concurrence of Cashion,

just agreed to require the taxpayers of Kernersville to pay for additional landscaping,

on top of all the improvements being paid for with public funds,

all for the Kernersville Downtown Merchants on Main Street.

This was done with about as much thought of the spending of taxpayer funds

as if they were buying a hamburger.

They could not give the taxpayers of Kernersville a property tax reduction,

but they, with ease, greeted this request  with 100% approval.

****

The purveyors of rogue journalism in Kernersville should be identified and confronted.

****

Big Government's Nightmare arrived in Kernersville in 1994
as a result of the wishes of the voters of Kernersville, the real bosses.

We instituted 2-year renewable terms for our elected board of aldermen;
they have been p….d ever since.

So the “power brokers” have devised a way in the last 4 years to silence the voice of the voters,
and have ignored the results of the last 2 Kernersville Municipal elections,
and have employed a “super delegate” type of power broker,
who determines who the elected officials in Kernersville will be.

There are 3 "super delegates" so far in Kernersville.

They are comprised of The Kernersville News,
The Kernersville Chamber Of Commerce,
and just coming on board, The Rotary Club.

Kernersville is getting ready to make a political payment to the
Kernersville Chamber Of Commerce;
you will not know about it because one of their accomplices is
the Kernersville News, which has stated they want all the Kernersville
elected officials to be, in their own words, "lock step".
The proper word is “goose step”, employed by the Nazi Army.

***
“Chambergate”

Kernersville’s Aldermen, as I suspected, true to their masters and power brokers,

voted to give away our assets/tax dollars and shun their fiduciary responsibility.

Aldermen Cashion, Bugg, Prescott, and Mason, the "anointed one," who was not on the ballot,

voted for the give away.  Cashion made the motion for the give away.

Mayor Morgan would have voted with them, in my opinion,

but her vote was not needed.  Caudill-Jones was absent.

***

Privileges do not trump rights!!

Some landlords operating in Kernersville are “aiding and abetting” many of the persons

who are perpetrating crimes against the community.

These public nuisance landlords should be assessed a $100.00 service fee each time a Kernersville Police Officer

is called to the landlord's property for an offense and a police report is filed.

The landlord will take actions and be inclined to take actions after receiving a bill(s),

which is assessed and recorded against the property of the landlord.

This growing sub-culture should be confronted and dealt with.

Do we want a replay of the Los Angeles and Chicago gangs to thrive in our community?

Contact your aldermen!!

***

Many politicians have learned from their "advisors" how to "tweak" The Public Purpose Doctrine of NC.

This maneuver they use is much like putting a mule in a suitcase:  they have learned to do it!!

***

Stop The Cheerleading and Bite The Bullet!!

It seems as if the majority of the people who pay no property taxes

or the tax-exempt organizations or the persons who pass the tax on to the consumer,

want to keep the Kernersville tax rate or increase it.

Kernersville Alderman Bugg has become an instant expert and water carrier.

So far he has one cohort, Alderman Prescott.

As expected, led by Alderman Prescott and Bugg,

Mason and Caudill-Jones joined them, and voted with them

NOT TO GIVE KERNERSVILLE TAXPAYERS A BREAK

ON THEIR PROPERTY TAX.

Alderman Cashion voted to give a break to the taxpayers.

If you read this and are angry,
are tired of their ever-increasing demands on your pocketbook and your liberty,
and feel that "enough is enough," then join me.

Kernersville Public Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month in the Town Hall at 7:00 PM.
