Huck and Judy's Collaborations

Judy Costea:

Judy's Picture

Writes under the pen name of snowmansmom. She Lives in Virginia, is married with five children, four boys and a girl. She started this soap opera off with the poem "How Can Love Live On Lies" to vent some old feelings. Stumbling across this, poem, Huck couldn't resist writing a response from the husband's point of view. This led to the Way We Were series. After they had completed this series, Judy wrote Please Come Home to Me. Again, Huck picked up on it and using the same characters from Way We Were, responded and Letters Home was born.

Huck's Pic

Huck lives in Florida with his lovely wife of thirty-nine years, has three grown children, two boys and a girl, and responded with "Forgive Me, I am Just a Man", to Judy's How Can Love Live on Lies.  Following the acceptance of Way we Were Huck replied once more to Judy's write, Please Come Home to Me.  This series also took off with the characters that everyone knew so well from the first series and became a labor of love.

Huck writes under the name above, which is his real name, and you can view his other works at Post Poems and The Starlite Cafe

Disclaimer:

After the second poems in the series Way We Were,   Judy's readers thought she should forgive Huck as he sounded so sincere in his apology, and Huck was chastised by one reader saying she knew Judy and hoped Huck wasn't playing with her heart.

These responses to our poems prompted the following disclaimer.

Judy and Huck have never met, except through their writings.  The characters portrayed here while may have started out with a real person has evolved into two fictional characters.  Any resemblance to anyone living or dead is purely coincidental, even though there are many that have been in this situation.  To those we offer our condolences.
