Welcome to Huck and Judy's Poetic Collaborations. This page was constructed to
post our poetic collaborations and to make it easier for our readers to follow
the collaborations even though there was no collaboration on the individual
poems but were written in a statement/answer format. The series "Way We Were" follows the two main character's (Sean and Seina) adventures. "Way We Were" was started by Judy "snowmansmom" Costea.(Seina) writing the 1st poem about a cheating husband and Huck responded with a poem playing the husband's part (Sean) then before you knew it, they had a poetic soap opera. The second in the series, "Letters Home", started the same way and is every bit as moving as the first. It follows Sean to Iraq and as you may have guessed deals with the everyday events in their lives while separated. "Outakes" are poems that would have changed the directions or end the "Way We Were" and/or "Letters Home" series prematurely, so were shelved, but were too good to destroy. "Look Into These Eyes" another beautiful write by Judy and responded to by Huck. A profession of love written by Judy that drips with emotion.. "Never Again Will I Trust in Love". Judy did an awesome write here, and Huck's response as the cad of her derision did a masterful job of groveling. So grab your tissues, and come join us on this poetic ride. |
