In the years since its small beginning in 2002,
Impressions Faux Finishing has
worked hard to distinguished itself as one of the
most creative and customer
focused faux finishing companies
in the Dallas-Ft worth area.
It began with Pam Durden,
the owner and chief artist /designer, and,
since 2004 has come to include
her trained assistants, Shawntel and Lori.

Pam’s training has taken her throughout the US.
It includes such recognized studios as
Faux Effects in Dallas and Vero Beach, Fl;
ProFaux of Akron, OH;
Paintin’ the Town Faux, in Atlanta, GA;
Decorative Finishes Studio in Louisville, Kentucky;
as well as workshops with many nationally known leaders
in the decorative painting industry.
The goal is to bring to our clients the most
up to date finishes and products lines available.
The result, hundreds of happy clients
who form a solid base for repeat and referred business!

We use product lines offered to professional finishers,
with the experience and knowledge to use them.

Pam’s knowledge of color is one of the pillars of our success.
Custom sample boards always insure the result expected.
The other pillar is artistry that our team brings.
Attention to detail is inspired by our passion for our craft.

From 2003 to 2007, Pam served as
chief finisher and Artist- in -Residence
for all three showrooms of the Robb& Stucky
design centers in DFW.
If you were there, you have seen her
Tuscan Glazes, Red Autumn Leaves,
and softly metallic Lusterstone finishes, to name a few.
