At long last, the Birdhouse Gourds are releasing our debut CD "Ohio"! We're really excited about it... it's been a labor of love for the past four years of playing together, and really a lifelong goal for all of us before that. The lyrics and music are a reflection of what the title "Ohio" implies -- stories of what we've lived and seen, stories of what we know. Stories of coming back home, growing up and older, riding a Huffy bike and having a crush on the drive-through window cashier. It's guitar-driven rock, where melodies and riffs can still carry the tune, so to speak. It was a "do-it-yourself" effort, from the songwriting through to recording, producing, mixing, mastering and artwork. We hope you enjoy it.
