A warning about using this adapter:
This
adapter could get you in trouble with a boss, client or co-worker!
Be advised that
if you have an open headset mic and you are listening at a
loud levels, it will audibly (not electronically) bleed into everyone's
headset, possibly offending someone.
To avoid this, I have found that keeping the volume on the playback
device under 30% when the headset mic is open is best
practice. DO NOT open your mic while listening at loud
volume. In addition, the beltpack volume does not control the device
volume. Some experimentation will be
necessary on your part to determine a safe and proper listening level.
