She enjoyed working a school librarian and absolutely delighted in her grandchildren. She had numerous medical problems over the years and tended to avoid going to doctors when she needed to go. She had chest pains for several days without telling anyone, insisting that she was doing just fine taking care of her husband Earl who was fairly ill. She had suffered a severe heart attack and died just days later.
