4. John Michael Quiett ⁽¹⁾ (photo) was born on 30 Mar 1848 in Nicholas County, Kentucky.⁽¹³⁾ He is listed in the 1880 Census as 28 but the 1900 Census gives his date of birth as March 1848. Other information gives his date of birth as 30 Mar, 1848. He was buried in 1926 in Carlisle Cemetery, Carlisle, Kentucky.⁽¹⁴⁾⁽¹⁵⁾ He died on 26 Sep 1926 in Middletown, Ohio.⁽¹⁴⁾ He was a Farmer around 1880 in Nicholas County, Kentucky.⁽¹⁶⁾ died at 78 at son's (Henry) in Middletown. Life long resident of Nicholas County , Kentucky. Had seen the James Brothers. John M's grandfather "MacDonald" was adopted by Quiett.

Mary Moore said he was a farmer He was married to Sarah Elizabeth Higgins on 15 Sep 1869.

5. Sarah Elizabeth Higgins⁽¹⁾ (photo) was born on 28 Dec 1850 in Kentucky.⁽¹⁶⁾ She died on 27 Sep 1920 in Moorefield.⁽¹⁷⁾ some confusion on date in September. different on obit index and my info. She was buried in Carlisle, Kentucky.⁽¹⁷⁾ died at 69 at home in Moorefield on a Saturday. Burried in Carlisle cemetary near Mt. Sterling.( Mom, bible 2/1977.)

Brother James Austin Higgins m Alice Stewart, father James Stewart, mother McVey, issue Virginia Higgins Campbell.

ii. John (Thomas) Quiett⁽¹⁾ was born on 30 Oct 1872. He died on 6 Sep 1938.
iii. Fidelie Quiett⁽¹⁾ was born on 12 Aug 1874 in Indiana.⁽¹⁶⁾ She died on 31 Jul 1894.⁽¹⁹⁾ She was buried in Aug 1894 in Concord, Kentucky.⁽¹⁹⁾ She was also known as Lizzie.⁽²⁰⁾ Death: Fidelia Quiett- at her daughters in Elizaville, Indianna. Daughter Mrs Annie ?. Burial at Concorde, KY. 5 children: 3 sons, 2 daughters away.
iv. Maria Quiett⁽¹⁾ was born on 25 Mar 1877 in Kentucky.⁽¹⁶⁾
v. Nannie Pearl Quiett (Private).
