It is more that just another
training course. It is a Scout Leader’s learning extravaganza, an annual
gathering where knowledge, skills and enthusiasm are shared!
This
single day event is packed with a year's worth of information for adults who
want to provide the best program possible for their Scouts, with
over 50 different courses including 15 new offerings. In addition to the
many classes and resources this event provides, participants have a chance to
meet leaders from all over the Twin River Council area.
Classes are filled on a first
come, first scheduled basis. The sooner you register the better chance you’ll
have of getting the classes you want.
So register early to assure your choice of classes!

Pre-registration is a must, as
there will be no walk-ins at the door this year.
Register early for best
choices as class priority is set based on the time it is received in the
council office. Your schedule will be available
at check-in the morning of the event.

Wow Book
This year’s Pow Wow book is provided as part of your fee
payment. It is a collection of notes, handouts and ideas from this year’s
instructors. This will allow you to take home notes from the whole event in
one packet.
Midway
Exhibits
Units and individuals are encouraged to bring items to display and share
with others.
In addition various special programs within the Boy Scouts of America and our
council will be showing their wares through out the day. Find out more
about Summer Camps, Day Camps, High Adventure, Future Training events and more.

- Since this a Scout Leader training function, participants are encouraged
to wear their uniforms.
- This is a day for adults. NO children please. There are no babysitting
facilities or activities available for children of any age.
- Check-in is from 8:30 am to 9:00 am. Opening is at 9:00 am
- Plan to arrive by 8:30am. Late arrivals distract from the Ceremonies and
miss out on the beginning of the program.
- Coffee, tea and donuts will be provided during registration time.
- All participants are encouraged to attend the classes they have been
assigned on their schedule. Some classes have a limited enrollment due to
facilities and budget restraints. Please follow your individual schedule.
We will do our best to give you the classes you request.

From the Northway (I-87), take Exit 5 (NY 155). Turn left on NY 155 to US 9.
Turn right on US 9 for two miles. Siena is on the left.
FROM THE SOUTH
From the New York Thruway, take Exit 23 (I-787). Follow I-787 North to I-90
West. Take Exit 6 (US 9 North to Loudonville, first exit off I-90). Follow US
9 North approximately two miles. Siena is on the right.
FROM THE EAST
From the Massachusetts Turnpike, take the New York Thruway to Exit B-1 (I-90
West). Follow I-90 to Exit 6 (US 9 North to Loudonville). Follow US 9 North
approximately two miles. Siena is on the right.
FROM THE WEST
From the New York Thruway, take Exit 24 (Northway I-87). Follow Northway North
to Exit 5 (NY 155). Turn left on US 155 to US 9. Turn right on US 9 for two
miles. Siena is on the left.
