I wanted to create a stock look with graphics on the exterior, so I created custom designs on my computer and had them cut out of vinyl by a local sign shop. It cost about $15 to get enough to use on the rear and both sides of the Scrambler.
In the photo above, the "Overlander 4.2l Fuel Injection" decals are placed on the rear of the hardtop, and a retro "4 Wheel Drive" decal is on the rear door. Below are the side decals, placed where the TJ would have the "Wrangler" logo.
Below is the artwork I created using Microsoft Visio.
And while I'm on the subject of graphics, after repainting the glovebox doorI also wanted to replace the original stickers inside the glovebox, but of course these aren't available anywhere, so I recreated them on my PC. I used the instant photo machine at the local grocery store to make instant photo prints. I laminated them to protect the surface, and stuck them to the inside of the glove box with double-sided tape.
