WILLISTON - Mrs. Katherine A. Derouchie, 66, of Oak Hill Trailer Park died in the Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York City Thursday after a long illness.

She was born November 4, 1909, in Hinesburg, the daughter of Emery and Ida (LaForce) Abare.

She was the widow of Alexander Derouchie.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Snyder of Summerville, Conn., and Mrs. Geraldine Baker of Burlington; four sons, Lyle of Colchester, Robert of Jackson, Mich., Ralph of Sterling, Mass., and Gordon of Williston; 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur Abare of Burlington and Carl Abare of Williston; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Goulette of Burlington and Mrs. Ethel Barrows of Ferrisburg; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the family lot in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 9 and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
