ROCKWELL, Mrs. Dorothy, 51, of 74 King St., died at her home Saturday after a long illness.

She was born in Springfield, Vt., May 1, 1913, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zenas Wood, and had lived in Burlington for 30 years.

She leaves her husband, Joseph; four sons, Edward Hayes of Seekonk, Mass., Royal Hayes, Clifford Rockwell and Wayne Rockwell, all of Burlington; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Harrington, Mrs. Thelma Derouchie and Mrs. Mary Lamphere, all of Burlington; four brothers, Earl, Floyd, and Gene Wood, all of Burlington and Rudolph Wood of Charlotte; six sisters, Mrs. Edith Lamphere of West-Milton, Mrs. Waneta Gingras of South Burlington, Mrs. Tina Harshberger and Mrs. Bertha Meisek of Burlington, Mrs. Sylvia Dow of Charlotte, and Mrs. Pat Bigue; 19 grandchildren, an uncle and an aunt.

Calling hours at Elmwood Memorial Funeral Home, 97 Elmwood Ave., will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. R. J. Meunier in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Carl Easton, Grath Savage, Robert Andrews, and Meddie Gingras.
