Helping Out - What Can I Do?
First, invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers and family! Anyone that has had questions about pagan beliefs should come and join us and learn.
If you’d like to donate an hour of your time to help out at the event, we always gratefully accept volunteers to help man the registration table, assist with children’s activities, and many other assorted behind the scenes stuff that needs to get done to make the day a success. To volunteer, contact us at Mary. She is always looking for minions.
Remember, whether you volunteer for an hour or a year, an exchange of energy takes place. You give of yourself, and you get something in return. That something could be any of the following:
feeling needed
satisfaction from accomplishment
sharing a skill
gaining recognition
getting to know more people in the community
donating your professional skills
demonstrating commitment to Pagan Pride
because there is no one else to do it
having an impact
learning something new
becoming an "insider"
being challenged
feeling proud
making new friends

feeling good
being part of a team
gaining status
testing yourself
being an agent of change
standing up to be counted
having an excuse to do something you love
