The Pagan Pride Project started in 1998 with 17 events in the United States and one in Canada. It has grown to cover much of the United States as well as Canada, Europe, and South America.

In 2008, over 21,500 people attended PPD events. Collectively the events raised 13,000 lbs. of food, $5,600 and numerous other donations for local charities.

In 2005, the events also raised an additional $7,267 for Hurricane Katrina relief, which was donated to Officers of Avalon, the Red Cross, and directly to local pagan organizations.

To date, the Central New York Pagan Pride Day has collected more than 7500 lbs. of food and $3500 in cash donated to various charities. The Pagans of Central New York really are the greatest!!!
