To say we are fans of The Simpsons is to severely understate. We have every single full-length episode on videotape in SP format (for longer-lasting quality), a project we began devoutly when it went into syndication, abandoning what was then our scattered SLP collection. And, of course, we've begun with the new releases on DVD.
Our everyday conversations are constantly sprinkled with various quotations. I have a co-worker who jokes that everything we ever talk about reminds me of something from The Simpsons, as I am constantly relating stories, scenes or jokes.
We once planned on putting in plenty of commentary on everyone's favorite dysfunctional animated family and the world in which they live. However, this area of the site was established Summer, 1997, and nothing has come of it. Odd, really, since The Simpsons is truly the one thing that everyone here is totally into. We may eventually put stuff here, but I have no idea when or what. It's not like this site is too small and scraping for content, so keep poking around, cuz there's plenty of others things to see!
Okay, it's no longer nothing, because I've coaxed a list of ten favorite episodes out of five of us. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of finally putting stuff up.
