AUDITIONS
The Knightwind Ensemble's Mission
is"...to foster, encourage and develop the popular, public appreciation
of wind band music and provide the means and facilities to afford qualified
adult musicians the opportunity to participate in a musical organization for
the cultural enrichment of the community."
The Music Director will determine if a
musician is qualified to join the group through an audition. The musician
should prepare a piece of his or her own choosing.
To register for an audition, please
send a short summery of your background and your contact information (both
email and phone) to kw-info @ wi.rr.com. The Music
Director will send you a return email with your scheduled audition time. If
there is a time that works better for you, please include it in your email.
Every attempt will be made to schedule the audition as close to your
requested time as possible.
Auditions for the 2011-2012 season will be held on Wednesday August 31 from 6 PM to 9
PM, at Audubon School, 3300 S. 39th St. Enter through the main doors on 39th
street and follow the signs to the band room.
If you would like to audition but are unable
to appear on August 31, please send an email to kw-info
@ wi.rr.com to schedule an alternate time.
