Diatomaceous Earth

You may be wondering how cheese ever came about. Back when we (humans) were following the herds or animals around from day to day we would milk the animals in the morning and put the extra into the "milk bag" which was a stomach of a small animal. Remember they did not have plastic bags or containers then and this was the only was of transporting liquid without losing it. During the day as the Shepard would walk around the milk would get mixed up from the movement. This along with a product that comes from the lining of that stomach called rennin caused the milk to coagulate and clump up onto curds and whey. They discovered that you can eat the curds and drink the whey. From this small beginning came out cheese as we know it today.
