The Weston A. Price Foundation is a rapidly growing nonprofit, tax-exempt charity founded in 1999 to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston A. Price, whose studies of isolated non-industrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets. Dr. Price’s research demonstrated that humans achieve optimal physical form and optimum health, generation after generation, only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators found exclusively in animal fats.

Local Food  Works!
Lake Erie West Foodshed Congress
was held Saturday, November 12, 2005
This highly successful meeting, organized by Mike Szuberla at Toledo Grows, highlighted the raising and using of local foods. The keynote speaker was Will Allen from Growing Power in Milwaukee. Their Website shows what we could do if we could get organized and had enough interest. A follow up Local  Food Works conference drew a small crowd in November, 2006, but efforts have languished since.
