Easter Day 2009

   Princess Snowflake is very Excited
because today is Easter, which is one of
her Favorite holidays. Since this is Bertie Pig's first
Easter with his new family, she figured she might as well tell
him what this holiday was all about. Of course, the best part about
Easter is the Easter Bunny! She was in mid-sentence
when suddenly there was a loud knock
on the door...

   It's the EASTER BUNNY...Yippppeeee!
The piggies are REALLY Excited now because
they know that he has brought them some
treats, and those greedy piggies can't wait to get
their paws on their yummy treats.

   The Easter Bunny sits Princess Snowflake
and Bertie Pig down and explains to them that he
cannot stay too long because the list of piggies has grown
tremendously in the last year. He tells them where they will find
their hidden Easter eggs, but that they are to share them with
all of their friends. So, he asks them to go out into
the neighborhood and gather all of the
other animals in the area.

   So, the piggies run out into the neighborhood
screaming at the top of their lungs for an Emergency
Town Hall Meeting. All of the animals heard them because
everyone was eagerly waiting for the arrival of the
Easter Bunny. So, they all gather together
and finally get settled down.

   While the Easter Bunny sits back and relaxes,
Princess Snowflake and Bertie Pig explain to their friends
that the hidden eggs can be found in various places throughout
the neighborhood park and that the eggs have special treats
inside of them. Then, suddenly, all of the animals make
a sudden dash for the park. So, the piggies quickly
say "Good-bye" to the Easter Bunny and
run to the park to gather as many
eggs as they possibly can.

   The piggies were just Delighted to find
their hidden Easter eggs! They must have found
over 30 eggs!!! Princess Snowflake and Bertie Pig waste
no time and start cracking open the eggs only to find
their most Favorite treat in the world...

Mmmmmmmmm...

   Bertie Pig feels like One Lucky Pig right now.
He had no idea that Easter was going to be so much FUN!
He is so Happy that he Finally got to meet the Easter Bunny
in person. Before now, he had only heard about him but
wasn't sure if he was real or not. Well, now he
knows and he can't wait to see the Easter
Bunny again next year...
