FEBRUARY 17TH 7:30 - 10ish E32 is pleased to
forgo any pretense of curatorial trajectory, theoretical imperative or conceptual overview in lieu of just getting a show together for February. Why? Because, the occasional decent day aside, February is a loathsome month and we need some fun. So join us for the artists' TV party that is E32. it's still. it moves. 3
Carmen Einfinger "tells all" about dealing with the Chinese public art bureaucracy while covering a shipping container with specially knitted tea cozy.

Monique Ford brings painterly abstraction for your scopic delectation.
Jamie M Lee offers a fetching contrast with graphic abstractions in paper, glitter, fabric paint and more.

| PAINTINGS AS DISCLOSURE -
Kylie Heidenheimer, Allen Hansen, Laura Via and Robert Kingston, all - on
their own terms - explore the physicality of paint. While working within a
limited format, these artists exemplify personal and diverse vocabularies
that are resonant and uniquely theirs. COLOR, SURFACE & GEOMETRY: Abstraction at it's most basic deals with color, surface and form. But Abstraction risks being merely decorative unless it has some higher content. Often discussions of painterly Abstraction incorporate philosophical or spiritual systems but spirituality is in the inner eye of the beholder. This discussion is less often applied to Geometric art but Geometries, decorative and Sacred, have their roots in pre-history and remain meaningful today. From touching and evocative memories of family never met, to a delightful homage to silent film magicians, to video that stands alone even as it describes installation. . . These works touch on the many ways that art video is made and presented but it does not begin to encompass them all. E32 in action
