ONEIDA MADISON EMERGENCY NET SCRIPT

 

Good evening this is (Call) (Phonetic Call Sign) activating the Oneida Madison Emergency Net, OMEN for the first /second of two monthly training session. This is a practice session, there is no emergency.

 

The OMEN network of stations is dedicated to Emergency Communications and Training. We are affiliated with ARES, the Amateur Radio Emergency Service. OMEN will handle ARRL formatted traffic of a priority or higher precedence, or traffic related to ARES operations. The Oneida Madison Emergency Coordinator, EC, is John, AB2QZ. Central District EC is Walt N2IK. Section Emergency Coordinator is Joe KC2DKP.

 

Do I have a volunteer for Alternate Net Control? Thank you (ANC CALL). Please keep a list of all check-ins. (Many times there is no volunteer)

 

This is a directed net and all stations may check into this net. Please give your call slowly and phonetically followed by your County of residence.

 

Are there any stations with Emergency or Priority or ARES related traffic?

 

At this time stations from Madison or Oneida County please check in.

 

All stations are welcome to check in.

This concludes the Oneida Madison Emergency Net. OMEN meets the first and third Tuesday of the month at 1915 local time on the 145.17 repeater.
