Our Promise

We promise we will love your child with all our hearts and give him or her everything we can, including a safe, healthy, happy, and loving home with lots and lots of hugs and kisses, play and silly time, encouragement to pursue interests and dreams, as well as plenty of guidance and good values. In the springtime, we'll stop to smell the flowers, as well as enjoy nature, flying kites, Easter-egg hunts, and biking. In summer, it'll be beaches, BBQs, hiking and nature centers, the zoo, and trips (to the ocean, animal farms, storyland etc.). When autumn comes, we love playing in the leaves, apple picking, hayrides, carving pumpkins, and trick-or-treating. When the snow falls, we'll be baking Christmas cookies, going on sleigh rides, sledding, skiing, and snuggling up with hot chocolate or warm apple cider.

We'll also try to make it easier for you in any way we can. We'd be happy to talk on the phone, by letter, or to meet in person if possible. We will tell your child as little or as much about you as you would like, but at the very least that you truly are a very courageous and loving person, and you will always be in our thoughts and prayers. We wish we could be there in person, so you could get to know us better, we could answer any questions, and could give you support.
