Debbie's thoughts about Brian:
I always knew Brian would be a wonderful father, but I am continually amazed and touched by how incredible he is with our son, Aiden, who came to us through adoption. Brian has been involved in every part of Aiden's life from changing diapers, feeding, dressing, soothing, and playing with him to going to almost every doctor's appointment, getting up almost every single night when Aiden didn't sleep through the night, and holding Aiden in his arms all night long when Aiden was sick. Brian hugs and snuggles with Aiden all the time, and of course loves to play with him. Aiden absolutely adores Brian. He is always hugging his Daddy, often breaks out laughing at the sight of Brian (who makes the silliest faces and noises), and just loves to play "tickle monster", hide and seek, or chase with Daddy.

Brian's thoughts about Debbie:Debbie is the most devoted and loving mother I've ever seen. She consulted with doctors across the country to make sure Aiden got the best treatment when he was having a medical problem as a baby. She also has followed though with our promise to his birthparents and him to make sure he has the safest and healthiest life, from the best rated car seat and shoes, to the most nutritious foods, which she makes from scratch for him. Debbie has loved staying home with Aiden. She is so patient, nurturing, loving, attentive, playful and fun. Aiden giggles and squeals with delight when they dance together and during their other games, like when mommy hides things under Aiden's shirt, gives him "tickle kisses", or "eats" his toes. Debbie has exposed Aiden to a wide variety of activities, and continued with the ones that he really likes, including swimming, music, and library, as well as two playgroups of children his age.
