Launching Rifle Grenades with the M70

The M70 Yugoslavian AK has the abilty to launch rifle grenades if the launcher adapter is screwed on to the muzzle threads. The grenade sight itself is raised which cuts off the gas supply to the gas piston allowing ALL of the gases to exit through the muzzle. The M70 can launch Anti-Personnel, flares, and Anti-Armor rifle grenades. The sight is marked in Meters with a "T" on the left side which stands for use when launching Anti-Personel RG's. It is marked in 110, 175 and 240 meters. The right side is marked "K" for Anti-Armor RG's and is marked 50, 100 and 150 meters. Normally the rifle grenades come with a plug in the base which holds (1) launch cartridge. These particular launch cartridges are very violent in the recoil department. I do not recommend them for any type of practice as they are very hard on the weapon using them. I load my own launch cartridges using 15 grains of Unique powder which gives me about 120-150 yards when launching an Israeli MK12 practice rifle grenade and they are pleasant to shoot, not violent at all as can be seen in the video links below.
