Sally Vrooman has been teaching SAT preparation classes informally and more recently through BOCES for over 25 years. In 1999 Meg Clemens and she collaborated in the formation of the BOCES SAT Workshop.  She prepares students for the SAT Critical Reading and Writing components. A Cornell University graduate, she earned a M.Ed. from Rutgers University in ’61 and a M.A. in European History from SUNY Binghamton in ’92. Certified to teach Secondary Social Studies, she has also taught ESL at Clarkson University and SUNY Canton distance-learning classes for ESL students in China. Currently a Liberty Partnership (LPP) Coordinator at Morristown Central School, she tutors and offers enrichment trips throughout the North Country for approximately 30 students in grades 7-12. Since 1965 she and her husband, a retired SLU economics professor, have lived in Canton where they raised their three sons.  

Meg Clemens has been teaching math preparation for the SAT for 14 years. In addition to teaching SAT Math preparation for BOCES in the spring, she teaches SAT Math preparation at Clarkson's Horizon program in the summer. Previously a USAF Captain, Meg Clemens has been teaching high school level math for 20 years. A National Board Certified Teacher, she teaches Algebra, PreCalculus and AP Calculus at Canton High School.

Educational background: B.S. in Mathematics, Wellesley College; M.S. in Mathematics, Wright State University; M.S. in Teaching, SUNY Potsdam.
