As a young
man I worked at a local Country club as a tennis instructor and
pro-shop employee. It was there, in 1988, that I learned to
string. As my
family grew, I didn't string a racquet for over 10 years.
Recently,
I became dissatisfied with the quality and price of the string jobs I
received here in Rochester. There didn't seem to be anyone who
could
talk intelligently about the pros and cons of different strings on the
market.
I
renewed my membership to the United States Racquet Stringers
Association. They got me back on the proverbial
horse and got stringing again.
My
goal is to become
someone
who other tennis players go to when they want their racquet strung at a
reasonable price. To achieve this goal, I have priced my services
extremely competitively with respect to other local shops. I do a
lot of research on available strings and technologies. If
you need some advice, give me a call or an email.
