For this particular t-shirt, there was a company contest held. In which there was a large response to. Which was amazing because, in the previous years, no one had entered, except one person. The year I decided to enter, so did many others. The contest was open to everyone, and everyone voted, whether they entered or not. I tied with one other person. So since his design was smaller than mine, everyone agreed to put him on the front, and my design in the back.

My goal was to make it look like it was done in charcoal and pastels. Which I think I achieved. The whole thing was done in Adobe Illustrator.
