The original Columbus Free Press grew out of the anti-war movement on the campus of Ohio State University in October 1970. This underground paper was published for a 25-year tumultuous history (1970-1995) and is now only on the web. It reports on social justice issues such as sexism, racism, peace activism, corporate misdeeds, politics and the counterculture.

Central Ohio's weekly multicultural newspaper boasting several columns including editorials, opinions, health, youth, lifestyles, fashion, religion, business, entertainment, classifieds, sports, and more.
The Daily Reporter
The newspaper of record for the Franklin County, Ohio, courts. In addition to its legal function, it also includes area, state, national and international news designed to help the Central Ohio businessperson stay informed on events that might affect their business or career. Articles of interest to professionals in real estate, legal affairs, health care, banking, technology, construction, financial planning and a variety of other fields are included.
The Ohio State Lantern, first published in 1881, is one of the oldest newspapers in Ohio. In 1914, the Lantern became an integral part of the Journalism School, serving both as a laboratory for journalism students and the official newspaper for the largest single campus enrollment in the country.

ThisWeek Community Newspapers publishes 20 newspapers serving most of central Ohio. It appears to have been created by The Columbus Dispatch to drive Suburban News Publications out of business. SNP is, however, still going strong.
