First Sphere
The First Sphere is the beginning level program and is typically presented
as a weekend workshop held on Friday evening (7 to 10 PM), Saturday and Sunday
(10 am to 6 PM each day), or Saturday and Sunday or three weeknights (6 to 10
PM). This class teaches the first four techniques, which comprise the First
Sphere. Completion of the First Sphere entitles a person to repeat the program
anytime, anywhere at no additional cost. To repeat the course is an experience
highly valued by many: it is an opportunity to re-learn material that may have
been forgotten, to hear the material among new participants and to enjoy once
again the value of Ascending in a group setting.
Advanced Attitudes
The four techniques taught in the First Sphere are sufficient to experience the
results desired. However, for those who wish to accelerate and expand this
process, additional techniques referred to as Advanced Attitudes are available.
Learning Advanced Attitudes, in relation to Ascension, is analogous to the miner
who digs additional mine shafts in order to more effectively gather the ore.
Here, we are mining the precious ore of the Unbounded Absolute, the Ascendant.
The techniques of Ascension are organized into seven (7) Spheres, or groups. The
first five (5) Spheres are structured like the first sphere, comprised of a
Praise, Gratitude and Love Attitude, followed by a Cognition technique, for a
total of twenty (20) techniques. The sixth (6th) and seventh (7th) Spheres
consist of seven (7) Attitudes, some with multiple parts; these are taught to
advanced students who have shown a deep commitment to their own enlightenment by
having completed the first five (5) Spheres and by then expressing the desire to
further accelerate their growth.
Advanced Attitudes are taught in a variety of circumstances: during repeat
attendance at a First Sphere workshop, by individual appointment, by telephone
appointment and at advanced programs and retreats. There is a fee charged for
each technique which is equivalent to their value if they were taught in a
weekend workshop like the First Sphere. The suggested time period between new
techniques is two weeks.
Ascenders' Meetings
Wherever we teach, we recommend that students meet regularly, with or without
teachers, to Ascend together and to share their experiences and insights. The
value of Ascending in a group will be apparent to anyone who has had that
experience, for the group energy is different from the energy of Ascending
alone; it is valuable to experience both. Sharing one's experiences with other
Ascenders is valuable because it can show us that our experience of Ascension
(and of life, for that matter) is not substantially different from that of other
travelers on the spiritual path. It is also worthwhile to exchange insights with
other Ascenders, thus obtaining potentially valuable feedback on our personal
issues, and to express whatever we are experiencing, particularly emotionally,
to get it out into the light of day where it can be seen objectively. If
teachers attend, they can help all these processes, but teachers are not
required: We encourage Ascenders to meet regularly and to support one another
whether teachers are available or not.
Advanced Weekends
Once Ascenders feel stable in their practice, many want to deepen the experience
of Ascending. It is for this purpose that we offer Advanced Weekends. These may
be presented as a one-day Ascension Meeting or two or a three-day extended
weekend, encompassing Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., unless
the participants and teachers agree to another format. The days are divided
between Ascending and discussions: Some groups prefer to Ascend more and talk
less; others tend to talk as much as Ascend. In either case, this is an
opportunity to stretch one's limits by Ascending for several hours in a day and
to support that experience with discussion of relevant issues. Ascending in this
concentrated way greatly accelerates our evolution.
Ascension Retreats
Nothing speeds the process of movement into full human consciousness more than
sustained Ascending for many hours each day over an extended series of days or
weeks. Opportunities to experience this, whether for 3 days, 7 days, 10 days or
more are available. What you desire; we can join together to create.
17-day Intensive
A particular form of retreat which works well with the demands of daily life is
the 17-day Intensive, a 2-1/2 week retreat which fits well within a 3-week
holiday. Everyone we know who has attended an Intensive has declared it to be a
deeply transforming and life enhancing experience. During an Intensive, we
Ascend as many hours in a day as possible. This is supplemented by group
discussions, light healthy meals, moderate exercise and relief from the
distractions of everyday living (telephones, computers, television, newspapers,
etc.). If you are interested I can give you information about Intensives lead by
other Ishayas.
Teacher Training
All around the world, there is a small number of individuals who recognize, at a
deep soul level, that they have found in Ascension something they have desired
deeply. They feel such a profound connection with the Ishayas' Ascension that
they are inspired to make their enlightenment the central focus of their lives.
Service to humanity will, at some point, become a natural element in such an
individual's spiritual growth, and sharing Ascension with others through
teaching is one way in which to express this desire to serve. Teacher Training
is a major commitment of time, energy and resources both by the student and by

Sponsoring
There are many who feel the same deep connection with Ascension experienced by
the candidate for Teacher Training but who are not called in that particular
way. Perhaps they have growing families to care for; perhaps they have a
satisfying career or a meaningful life in their home community. Whatever the
circumstances, these individuals want a deeper involvement with Ascension
without radically changing their current life. For such people, sponsoring is an
excellent opportunity. A sponsor of Ascension is a person who sets a date for an
Ascension Program (most likely a First Sphere); promotes and organizes it. The
sponsor invites the teachers and then offers accommodation to them during the
Course and offers administrative assistance during the course; and generally
serves as the local facilitator, whatever that may involve.

There are several books recommended for gaining greater knowledge on Ascension.
My beloved Teacher MSI (now deceased) wrote some of them. But as he would say,
