Am/Can Champion Barney

Am/Can Champion Barney was born on the 4th of July, 1995. It was auspicious day as well as a holiday. Little did we know that this little man would leave such a large paw print on his breed. He never wieghed more than 12 pounds, but what a mighty 12 it was!! He struted his stuff just as any Champion would and loved his females to boot! He was held up to all by Judge Frank Sabella as a magnificient example of the breed at his first show. He sired his last litter at the age of 11 1/2 years, and they are wonderful examples of the breed. Even at this late age he still romanced his ladies. He was a gentleman in all respects, and loved to give and receive love. He will be missed by his family and all that knew him, he leaves an empty space in our home and I hope to see him at the Bridge one day.
