MJB Plus, Inc. was dissolved as a business on Nov. 30, 2005.

The individuals who worked on the magnet tutorial had extensive background in computer applications development and superconducting magnet R&D.

Millicent ("Penny") Ball, Ph.D.


Dr. Ball received her B.Sc. in Mathematics from Antioch College and her Ph.D. in High Energy Physics from the University of Maryland.

She is the founder and president of M J B Plus Inc. which was registered as a Texas corporation in December 1997 and dissolved in 2005. It was the successor to MJB Consulting, a sole proprietorship which was formed in Dallas County, Texas in 1994. Dr. Ball led the development of the interactive multimedia educational projects developed by the company.

In 2001 Dr. Ball became a part-time employee of Advanced Magnet Laboratory, an R&D company based in Palm Bay, FL. She partipates in their magnet design and analysis activities.

Dr. Ball's previous experience includes over 13 years programming and database development for superconducting magnet R&D work at Brookhaven National Laboratory and the Superconducting Super Collider Laboratory.

Carl L. Goodzeit, P.E.


Mr. Goodzeit received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, his M.Sc. in Engineering Mechanics from Brown University, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of New York.

Starting in 1994, he was the Technical Director for MJB Consulting and its successor M J B Plus Inc. He was a key participant in the development of interactive multimedia educational material.

Since 2001 Mr. Goodzeit has been a part-time employee of Advanced Magnet Laboratory, an R&D company based in Palm Bay, FL. He is a key participant in their magnet design and analysis activities.

For more than 12 years prior to 1994, Mr. Goodzeit played a vital part in design and construction of superconducting magnets at Brookhaven National Laboratory and the Superconducting Super Collider Laboratory.
